TGAS and Carlo

Last week I got to hang out with, take pictures of, and be coached by Thomas Degasperi, the 2011 world champion slalom skier!!! He and Carlo Allias were in town for the Goode records tournament. I snapped a few shots of he and Carlo before shooting them in the course as they skied around me. Then he watched me ski and gave some pointers that really helped me! He is an amazing teacher!

I have been so excited for this opportunity and my family, husband and water ski friends have had too much fun teasing me RELENTLESSLY about it!  I'm hoping that the teasing will soon stop now that it is over!

I invited my good friend, David Perry to come along and capture it all on video. I had no idea he was going to do something THIS cool! I owe him big time!

Thomas and Carlo couldn't be any sweeter!  I loved hanging out with both of them and am so glad to be able to call them my friends!

BTW, shooting insanely fast action shots with a tilt-shift lens is HARD!
