Locals take back Sundance party!

I don't know if you knew this about me, but I REALLY LOVE fashion photography. My dream is to be offered a ridiculously high paying fashion photography job in New York City! I don't think I could ever permanently leave Utah though, I love it too much!
These pictures are from a party I went to last week up in Park City for locals only. My friends Keith Bryce, Paula Dahlberg, Michelle Boucher and Steven Robertson designed these looks.
It was so much fun, especially walking to the front of the line past all the poor saps who were waiting to get in!!

Attention photographers!

This is going to be so amazing! The shoot will take place in an old abandoned building and there will be several different set ups(there will even be an old car inside the building for one of the sets!) I just love Keith! He is one of the sweetest, most genuine people I know and I am so glad he's my friend! Jake Garn workshop~ Utah fashion photographer Julie Parker

This weekend for my birthday I got to attend a workshop by fabulous local fashion photographer, Jake Garn. It was a great workshop and so much fun! Here are just a few of my favorite shots of the day! I love learning new things and making new friends at workshops! It was fun using studio lighting for a change, although I only used actual strobes on numbers 3, 4 and 9 and the rest were just taken using the modeling light. I think number 2 is my favorite, but I need to get rid of the hairs near her eye.

Mikarose display

I was at Costco today and looked up and saw my picures that I took for Mikarose on display. Kinda cool. They are at the Ogden store for a few more days. I love their dresses. They are way comfy!
