Day 7 & 8 Monterey

We went to Monterey on Thursday and drove along the coast to Carmel. Friday we went back to San Fran to the Golden Gate bridge before catching our flight home!

Day six~San Jose

On Wednesday we went to San Jose to shoot Megan and Brian's wedding. I'll try to post more later when I'm not on my laptop.

San Fransisco day 4 and 5

We shopped all day on Monday and I walked about 15 miles in the wrong shoes! On Tuesday I got some more baptism shots of Avery in Chinatown. Then I hooked up with the uber talented Julie Weisberg for a mini mutual mentoring session down near the wharf. I wanted to use this cool Airstream trailer as a backdrop, so I knocked on the door to ask the owner for permission and learned that he was a former Bay Watch cast member. I thought it would be fun to throw him in some shots with our model! I am using my laptop to edit these so if things look a bit off, that's why!

SanFransisco day three

We didn't do much on Sunday. It was kind of rainy and cold. We slept in, went to brunch and then down to the wharf where some carnie made Wren his assistant! He put her on his back and walked on broken glass. He was a real goober! Then we went back to the hotel, sat in the hot tub, ordered pizza and watched a movie!

San Fransisco day two

I woke up with a massive head cold! We walked to China town for breakfast where the girls got to watch their dad order his favorite Chinese breads and chat with the locals in Cantonese. Then we met my sisters for lunch at Chevy's. I felt like crap, so we went back to the hotel and just relaxed for a bit before going to Ghirardelli for dinner(yes, we had ice cream for dinner!)

San Fransisco day one

So I am in San Fransisco for the week with my family. We had a blast today, but I miss my son who wasn't able to come with us due to work and school. We started off the day with breakfast at my favorite greasy spoon breakfast restaurant, the Pinecrest Diner where they have the best corned beef hash in the whole world! Then we went to Haight Ashbury to go shopping. After that we went to the beach and let the girls play in the water. This was Avery's first time to the ocean! Before heading back to the hotel we ate dinner at Sliders where they have the best burgers you could possibly imagine! Needless to say my diet has taken a hiatus! I'm going to the hotel's gym right now! Stay tuned throughout the week for more adventures of the Parkers!
All of these except the first one were taken with my 45mm tilt shift lens. I am forcing myself to use it on this trip so I can figure out how it works.

The Mammoth Men party!

The Mammoth Men are in Utah this week and they threw a crazy fun party last night! It was so fun seeing my friend Nate Kaiser again and getting to meet so many amazingly talented photographers. I was rockin' the red eye with my point and shoot camera. I should have brought my Canon. Oh well!

My friends at Mikarose just came out with 4 new beautiful dresses. I was able to shoot these for them at my workshop. Check out their website! Their dresses are fabulous and modest!
