This is my friend Sarah and her adorable family. Sarah was so nice to show me all around Paris and help me figure out the metro(I have NO sense of direction!) I loved hanging out with her sweet children and could listen to her son Felix talk all day! I want to have another baby girl so I can name her Astrid just like Sarah's little one. I think that is the cutest name ever! Thanks again Sarah for taking time out of your busy schedule to show me around! These were all taken at Sacre' Coeur.
I bought this vintage camera at the Paris flea market. Isn't it cute?!
I am so excited to announce that I am hosting a shoot with Beckstead workshop in Ogden Utah on June 15th through the 17th! You can find details for the workshop on his blog. I attended David's workshop last year and found it to be the best workshop I have ever been to! David now teaches workshops around the world and I am so glad I was able to talk him into coming back to Utah! David is one of the top ten best wedding photographers in the world! It doesn't matter if you are a wedding photographer or you only photograph babies and children, this is an amazing composition workshop and so much more! Spaces are limited so I would definitely sign up quickly!
It is so good to be home! I had fun, but honestly was not a huge fan! My friend Sarah Gardan took this picture of me in my fancy new dress I bought while I was there! I took her family pictures and will post some as soon as I get over this stinkin' jet lag!
I got off to a rough start in Paris, but last night my friend Sarah took me for a ride down the Seine river and it was amazing! I am going back to the Eiffel tower tomorrow for a bridal shoot! I went to the Montparnasse Cemetary and the catacombs yesterday. There are some amazing textures at the cemetary! Here are some views from my apartment on the Rue Daguerre.

I still haven't decided on a name for my little traveling gnome companion. Please leave me a comment with your suggestions! Here are a few more from Eric and Julie's wedding. I'll try to post some from Paris tomorrow.
I am now in Paris! I rented the cutest apartment on the Rue Daguerre! Right now I am listening to the fabulous play list cd that my bride burned for me while enjoying the breeze that is coming from my open window. Here are some more images from the wedding! I found this little guy in an antique shop in Heidelberg! Isn't he fabulous?! I am so excited about him! He is going to be like my little traveling gnome! I need to give him a name. Any ideas? This is their adorable great dane, Nala This is the little chapel where they were married! My favorite shot of the day!
Guten Tag! I am in beautiful Heidelberg Germany! I shot these bridals yesterday about a couple of hours after I arrived. I might talk the bride into shooting some more before her wedding on Monday! There are SO many amazing places to shoot! I am having a blast! Julie and Eric took me to dinner last night to this cool old German pub! I had the yummiest bratwurst, however the sauerkraut wasn't as good as my mother-in-law's. Julie found me because we share the same first and last name! She googled her name one day and my website came up! I think it was fate! I love these two! They are so kind and genuine! They are so easy to photograph because they are so in love and it really shows in the pictures!
