Today's favorite is Kata camera straps. They have two nifty little pockets that you can put your memory cards in which makes changing your card in a hurry super easy! The strap I have is called the Reflex C and their website is www.kata-bags.com (Arbor snowboarding pin and Eagle Scout mom pin sold separately!)
Thanks to everyone for making this workshop so fun! Thanks to our awesome models! Luckily the weather cooperated for us! I am going to teach another int/adv. workshop in April, so email me at julie@julieparkerphotography.com to get on the waiting list!
I had so much fun teaching this workshop! I love it when my niece can model for me! Keith Bryce was my special guest and he designed and styled this look for Rachel. He even did her hair! A special thanks goes out to Spencer, Rachel's fiance, for modeling for us as well! There are lots more images to come(a cute little preemie and darling family)!
Today's Friday Favorite is heart shaped bokeh overlays! I found them on DeviantART. These are a couple shots from my workshop yesterday! It was so much fun! I'll show you more later.
I need a few models for some upcoming events. I need a baby(newborn-8 months) and a small family to model for my workshop this Thurs. from about 1-4 or 5pm. If you, or if you know of anyone who is interested, please email a picture to me at julie@julieparkerphotography.com as soon as possible. I tried to get this info out earlier, but was horribly sick all weekend. I also need some 6-12 month old babies(mostly girls) and 2-4 year old models for a shoot on Sun. the 21st. for Little Cherry Blossoms.

Today's favorite of mine is Valentine's Day treat bags filled with gumballs! They are super easy to make too! I bought these cellophane bags at Zurchers(.15 ea.) Then I designed a 5x5 in. Valentine greeting in Photoshop making sure to reverse the graphics for the backside once it's folded(see below). Then I printed it out,cut it, folded it in half and stapled it to the bags!
I don't know if you knew this about me, but I REALLY LOVE fashion photography. My dream is to be offered a ridiculously high paying fashion photography job in New York City! I don't think I could ever permanently leave Utah though, I love it too much! These pictures are from a party I went to last week up in Park City for locals only. My friends Keith Bryce, Paula Dahlberg, Michelle Boucher and Steven Robertson designed these looks. It was so much fun, especially walking to the front of the line past all the poor saps who were waiting to get in!! Me with Abby Warnock, Andrea Hanks and Jake Garn.
This is going to be so amazing! The shoot will take place in an old abandoned building and there will be several different set ups(there will even be an old car inside the building for one of the sets!) I just love Keith! He is one of the sweetest, most genuine people I know and I am so glad he's my friend! There are only a few spots still available so HURRY and sign up and be sure to tell Keith that I sent you when you do! I hope to see you there!
My Get Schooled workshop is now full! To be put on the waiting list for the next one, please email me at julie@julieparkerphotography.com
Here are some of the previous shoot's I have done with Keith!
