Big Bang photo shoot!
Here is some more info on the upcoming Big Bang photo shoot! Spots are filling up, so sign up soon!
Today's favorite is this Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag that I got for my new camera bag that I got at Little Cherry blossoms!
The reasons I love this bag:
~It holds my camera body with my 85mm lens attached, my 45mm tilt shift, 24mm, 50mm,all lens hoods,flash, video light, batteries, memory cards, lens cleaning tools, wallet, cell phone, business cards, lip gloss AND it still zips closed!!!
~it has a stiff, plastic-like fabric that can easily wipe clean.
~It stands on it's own
~it fits comfortably over my shoulder
~ I can swap lenses super fast and easy because there is no flap covering the opening.
~There are 8 divided pockets inside the bag, a large pocket on the front and back side and two zippered pockets on the sides.
~ It's a lot less than a lot of the new camera bags out there.
It comes with a diaper changing pad that I folded in half and put on the bottom for padding. I also added a shoulder pad to the strap.

Nikki, along with the staff at Ume' will be there to help you take that difficult piece and put something fantastic with it... So don't forget to bring that difficult piece. Also, a portion of the proceeds that evening will be donated to help Kellie Babcock,Ms Wheelchair Utah in her journey to compete at the Ms. Wheelchair USA competition. Kellie is a local girl who recently graduated from Weber State and currently works as a social worker in the local area. So please join us in helping her represent and compete on the national stage. We know she is going to represent us well. GOOD LUCK KELLIE!!!

Today's favorite is MCP action's studio white bright spell! The shoot I did for Little Cherry Blossoms was the first time I had ever used a white backdrop. If you look at the post below, you'll notice that the white backdrop doesn't look very white or even at all! I was complaining about it to my friend Ally when she reminded me of an action that I owned that would fix it! DUH! This action can be found in the MCP'S Bag of Tricks action set.

Workshop update!

Little Cherry Blossoms Spring photo shoot~ Utah commercial photographer~ Julie Parker
WHAT.A.RIOT!!! It was utter chaos! Be sure to watch the behind the scenes video at the end! Thanks to all of the models and a special thanks to my friend Lori Jones who styled the shoot for me! Photographers, if you ever do a commercial shoot like this it is IMPERATIVE to have a photo stylist so you can concentrate on shooting and not have to worry about everything else!
