Aloha!

I am headed to Kauai to shoot Jennifer and Nathan's wedding! I will return all phone calls and emails as soon as I get back on Tuesday! I'll leave you w/ a sneak peek of blog posts to come. Also, I have a couple more openings for mini sessions on Fri. Oct. 1st. I have a 5:00 and a 5:45 and I opened up Sat. Oct. 2nd and I still have a 2:00 and a 2:45.



Congratulations to Josh who just got his mission call last night to Johanesberg South Africa!!!

I decided that once a month I will share a wedding tip. They will be mostly geared towards photographers, but I will give tips to brides and vendors as well!

The night before a wedding I always freeze 2 bottles of water, Fuze or Propel and put them in my camera bag for the bride and groom. I try to also carry some fruit snacks or something for them to eat. You wouldn't believe how appreciated it is!

Joe and Caroline~wedding

I can't remember ever seeing two happier people than Joe and Caroline on their wedding day! It was so sweet, Joe gave a toast to Caroline at the reception and told her that he was more excited to marry her than any Christmas he could ever remember as a child!

One of my favorite photography and design resources is Design Aglow. They have really clean, simple templates, marketing/selling tools and fabulous online magazines filled with tips and inspiration!

STEEZY-D

It ain't easy...bein' this STEEZY!!! My son is the gnarliest of the gnarly! He made me go out IN THE MORNING RAIN to take some shreddy shred pictures, as he calls it.

Bear Hollow Tournament

A couple weeks ago we went to the Bear hollow tournament in Bear River. I have decided that I will buy a lot on this little waterski lake, build a little cottage and one day retire there!

When I grow up I want to be able to ski like my new friend Renee.


Check out her 8 yr old daughter!!!! It's sad when an 8 yr old has better form than you do!

McCall

McCall is an amazing artist! She wrote and sang the intro song for my portrait website! It was so much fun doing this shoot. She just sang and played her guitar as I shot away! It was so peaceful and it makes me want to hire her to come along on all of my shoots!

One-on-one mentoring session

Jennifer came from Boise to spend the day with me. The day started off freezing cold and raining, but then the sun came out and it warmed up just in time for our shoot. My friend Natalie's kids modeled for us...they are so stinkin' cute!
